What’s On At Piece Hall 2025
If the Piece Hall gigs 2025 don’t take your fancy, fear not! When looking at what’s on at the Piece Hall, there’s typically lots of variety. So far there’s a book launch on January 16th for “He Used To Do Dangerous Things” by Gaia Holmes, where both the author and Ra Page (publisher at Comma Press) will do a reading of the short stories followed by a Q&A session – where you will get the chance to get your book signed. If you’re a book lover you won’t want to miss this event!
Towards the backend of the year, there’s a midnight walk from 10pm on the 13th of September to 3am on the 14th to support Overgate Hospice. This is a great opportunity to support the local community while enjoying a lovely stroll under the stars and meeting some great people!

After you’ve spent the day or night at one of the Piece Hall gigs or events, you will need to refuel. Luckily there are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes for you to try during your visit. The Trading Rooms offer outdoor dining and stunning views of the courtyard, whereas if you have more of a sweet tooth, then The Astronomer Diner has a variety of treats you can indulge in while waiting for your show to start. On the other hand, if you want to unwind and have a drink there’s The Wine Barrel that serves craft beers, gin and cocktails for you to try!
